Office Fitness Ideas
Office fitness may sound like a fable for a fantasy. There are just so much to do throughout the day that you simply forget about your own well-being. There are very basic steps that you can make everyday to add up over time.
You do not always have to be doing rigorous gym workouts to be in shape. Workouts can be subtle and integrated into your daily life; right in your office chair. You can achieve good health alone with that.
I have a few ideas for you so you can get things going:
Walk Around
That is the simplest thing you can do for yourself. You might have forgotten to move around, since your chair is so comfortable. It is so comfortable that simply walking around for ten to fifteen minutes or so can make a change for you over time. You can walk during lunch or take a walk on your break. You can even organize a group walk and get your co-workers involved.
Breathing Techniques
Breathing is important to supply your body with the proper oxygen that you need for your brain, lungs, and muscles. We tend to breathe shallow and do not get enough oxygen in the body. Take some time to really get some oxygen into your lungs.
Blend In Workouts
Why use the elevator when you can simply take the staircase?
Why take your car and burn your gas when you can just walk?
There are some little known secrets when it comes to getting in shape, which few people know about. They have the best of both worlds: they are in shape and still work to earn a living. And they are not getting up at 5 am in the morning to hit the gym before work or spending weekends there. They are not going out of their way to achieve it and you can too.
If you workout 5 minutes each hour, you get a 40 minute workout by the end of the day.
There are plenty of good tips and skills that can get you to that level of fitness
Imagine getting a moderate workout without even leaving the office, going to change into other clothes, or lay out a yoga mat.

3 Great Home Fitness Machines For Weight Loss
While gyms and health clubs can be great, most of us feel intimidated by them. With the rising cost of memberships and the hassle of going there every day, most people never stick to their weight loss goals because of this. Home fitness on the other hand is much cheaper, it’s a million times more convenient and some of the biggest excuses for why you are not getting your exercise can be eliminated. For a fraction of the cost of an annual gym membership you can invest in your own home fitness equipment.
Although there are new “miracle machines” being advertised on late night TV all the time, I would not recommend any of them – purely from a quality perspective. I am sure that some of them actually do work, but for the same money you can buy a tried and tested machine. What are these tried and tested machines? Here are the 3 that I believe is a great investment.
1. Treadmill
Treadmills are great. They are compact, reliable and walking and running is still one of the best exercises you can do for weight loss. You can park your treadmill in front of the TV, get your 45 minutes of exercise and still not miss your favorite shows.
2. Elliptical Cross Trainers
What makes elliptical trainers so good is the fact that it’s a high intensity workout with minimal impact on your legs and joints. It’s a great alternative to running but the actual machine is much bigger and takes up a lot more space.
3. Exercise Bikes
Cycling is also an amazing cardiovascular workout. One of the great benefits is that you are seated which can help people with knee problems or if you legs ace from the impact of running. Exercise bikes are very versatile and like a treadmill its relatively small and you can park it in front of your TV to exercise while watching your favorite sitcom.
